AYUDH: European Youth Exchanges
Since 2005 every year Amma's Youth from all over Europe comes together at the beautifully located M.A.Center in Germany for a retreat with Amma's close disciple Br. Shubamrita and Bri. Dipamrita from the French Ashram. In 2007 our Youth Exchange was supported by the "Youth in Action" Program of the European Commission DG Education and Culture.In 2008 the 4th European Exchange was funded by the EU which saw 130 youth from 14 European countries meet at Hof Herrenberg in Germany for five days in July, including young people from new countries such as Norway, Denmark and even Morocco. The Exchange was lively as usual, an energy bubble teaming with life, language, laughter and culture - it truly felt like another world. Read report
YOUTH IN ACTION 2009: 5th European Youth Exchange
From 19th to 26th July 2009 young people from all over Europe flocked to the M.A. Center Germany to participate in the 5th annual European Youth Exchange. “Give Peace a Chance” was the theme of the week, which for the third time was generously funded by the EU’s “Youth in Action” programme. The event was also registered as part of the “Worldwide March for Peace and Non-violence.”
